Hilton Hotels & Resorts created an immersive Wicked-themed suite as part of the larger press tour and and advertising campaign for the first installment of the Wicked film adaptation.
Closer to the official launch of the suite's booking for prospective guests, I and several other creative team members conceptualized, shot, and fully produced an announcement video for Hilton's various social media platforms.
With fellow content creators, we pitched and ideated an auditory connection between the front desk bell of a hotel and the distinctive sound of the first note of Wicked song, "Popular", which in itself sounds like a bell tone. Through making this connection, we created a depiction of Wicked's Elphaba ringing the desk bell, revealing information about the suite through a letter that was fabricated to resemble the exact prop used in the movie adaptation.
I reviewed all visual assets that were provided and cleared in pre-production, and further finessed the graphics and visual effects in post to ensure the final deliverables met social-friendly parameters.
